It’s no secret that I feel completely misunderstood by my house full of males, and I just can’t comprehend how they don’t appreciate the finer things in life…like a fabulous pair of new shoes, intricate crafting projects, regular manicures and all things pink and fluffy! Luckily, I was able to get my “girly” fix this past weekend at The Girl Cave by living vicariously through the mom of a beautiful 8 year old girl. I’m not going to lie…I was a bit envious as I watched her unpack box after box of frilly blue and white decorations for her “Frozen” themed birthday party. I had visions of my two sons at home, lying on the couch with their eyes glued to their computer monitors and surrounded by discarded food wrappers and dirty dishes. Sigh. I long ago accepted that I will never have a sweet little girl to go craft, shop and have spa days with, but I hope you moms don’t mind if I covet your sweet little girls for a few hours when they spend their time at The Girl Cave!
