As I am writing this, it is so hard to believe that today is our THREE YEAR anniversary since we opened our doors! In some ways it feels like just yesterday, and in other ways, it feels like The Girl Cave has always been a part of my life. There have been many highs and many lows along the way, but the one constant has been my love of this business and of all of my customers who have been so incredibly supportive.
As my “thank you”
for all that the community has done for The Girl Cave, I want to pay it forward by hosting our first DINNER PARTY fundraiser.
I am working in conjunction with Soroptimist International Huntington Beach
to create a wonderful evening to bring the community together while raising funds for the CHOC Foundation.
Details for the September 30th
event may be found on our website calendar.
So you understand where your entrance fee for the event will be going, we would like to share the Garcia family’s story with you:
“As most of you know, it has been exactly 2 year since our son Kyle’s miraculous birth. Even though he was diagnosed with a fatal genetic disorder, Trisomy 13, he survived longer than most children with this disorder. He was the strongest little man I have ever known. There is no doubt in my mind that had it not been for my amazing OB Team at HOAG Hospital and the angel’s at CHOC Hospital, my son and my husband would never have met. We would not have been able to say hello and goodbye as a family. There would never have been a sense of closure.
This is why I am asking, once again, for your amazing support with the CHOC Walk. If you find it in your heart, please donate or join as a walker on our team. I promise that your contribution will not go unappreciated. We would love to have you and your family walk with us through Disneyland and California Adventure on a magically healing morning for so many families. The walk is on Sunday, October 11th from 6am-10am. We cannot wait to hold up our “High 6 & Hang 12″ sign this year in memory of our outstandingly strong Little Kahuna. Can’t wait to see what a difference our team can make.” – XOXOXO The Garcia Family
