I mentioned in my blog last week that we are busily working behind the scenes on an exciting rebranding project. This includes a complete overhaul of our website that I can’t wait to share with you… so I’m giving you a little sneak peek! We needed professional photos of The Girl Cave which depict some of our many set-up options, so I decided to create a fake generic shower (something that would work for a baby or bridal shower). Holy cow, did I have a great time! I’m so used to envying all of my shower customers who get to pour over Pinterest and craft like crazy for their events, and now it was MY turn! Whoo hoo! I dusted off my sewing machine and made table runners (a HUGE accomplishment, considering it took me an hour just to remember how to thread the machine!), wrapped empty boxes with beautiful papers and bows (I’m willing to bet somebody saw them in the dumpster after the photo shoot and thought they hit the mother load – boy are they going to be disappointed!), and I finally bought the bird cages I’ve been wanting forever and created beautiful centerpieces. I could have worked on this project forever, but unfortunately had a deadline and had to force myself to step away from the hot glue gun!
